“Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” (Revelation 22:7)
The book to which Jesus is referring is Revelation. Therefore, the “blessing” of which He is speaking describes what is received by the one who lives in the hope of what’s coming rather than in the preservation of what they currently possess. In other words, living in the hope of heaven produces a supernatural change in our current experience!
Embrace the truth: Christianity without the return of Christ is like paying for a vacation that you never intend to go on. It’s meaningless. If there is no anticipated resurrection, then our present decisions will always be bound to immediate gratification and release nothing from heaven. Your life will be no different from anyone else in the world.
Believe God; you are meant to experience heaven now! Today, let hope reign. …
